I am a Romantic

A product of the Depression and World War II, my parents, a Canadian father and a Scottish mother created in me a soul that briefly found rest in 20th Century America as the husband of M. Gail Middleton. Since her death in 1998 I have struggled to find a new niche in contemporary human society. This search has reopened old wounds dating back to my time as an American military veteran during the Post Vietnam Era. I am now resident near Stirling, Scotland, having attained that ever elusive Bachelors Degree I started in September 1968.

I long for a time when love and honour will guide our lives. Some may argue that such a time never existed and never will. How sad that we humans can imagine an Eden but never live there.

My Scottish Highland ancestors have blessed me with a height of six feet four inches (193 cm), a giant to some, but with a gentle spirit. I am not wealthy, just financially secure. I do not seek to dominate nor be dominated. Why do some find this so scary? Or perhaps I have no role in their agenda?

In any case, please enjoy the pictures below.
