Xmas 2001 Letter

On 13 April 2001, I was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Society; I continue to maintain a 4.0 GPA and am on the President's List. During the latest semester, Fall 2001, I completed courses in Microsoft PowerPoint and Developing Pages for the Web. I am now within a semester and a half of earning an Associate in Business: Microcomputer Support Specialist degree and will be attending Lansing Community College fulltime starting with the Spring 2002 semester.

On 18 - 20 May 2001, at George Rogers Clark Park in Springfield, Ohio, I took part in a reenactment of the Battle of Prestonpans, (19 September 1745), and the Battle of Culloden Moor, (16 April 1746). Prestonpans was a resounding victory for the Stuart cause, but Culloden was a tragic defeat, not only for the Jacobites, but also for the Highland way of life.

On 17 - 19 May 2002, I will be a part of the fifth annual Culloden battle reenactment and Living History encampment. The location will once again be George Rogers Clark Park in Springfield, Ohio. Those interested in Scottish and British military history, Highland culture, and the 1745 Jacobite Rebellion in particular, mark your calendars and plan on attending this unique event!
